These community guidelines are designed to create a safe and welcoming space for all users on Shimmy. We expect all users to respect each other and to follow these guidelines. They are created with purely good intention, and to create a safe and positive environment for users. In addition to these community guidelines, Shimmy also complies with UK and International data laws. These laws protect the privacy of users and their personal data.

Additional Guidelines

Be respectful of others. This means treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic. It also means avoiding personal attacks, harassment, and bullying.
Do not post illegal content. This includes content that is harmful, violent, or hateful. It also includes content that is copyrighted or trademarked without permission.

Do not post child sexual abuse content. This is illegal and will result in your account being banned.
Do not use our platform for commercial purposes. This means using our platform to sell products or services, or to promote your own business.
Do not violate our intellectual property rights. This means using our platform to post content that you do not own or have permission to use.
Do not violate our terms of service. These terms set out the rules for using our platform. If you violate these terms, your account may be banned.

Enforcement

We will take action against users who violate these guidelines. This may include removing content, suspending accounts, or banning users from the platform.
